Justin died in hospital after an attack on the High Street station, which police described as a “shocking act of violence”, took place in the mid-afternoon.

On Monday morning, Police Scotland announced that it had arrested another 16-year-old boy as part of its murder investigation.

James McParland, the headmaster of Justin’s school, has described him as “an important member of our community” and his loss will be felt by staff and students alike. Counseling will be offered this week to students at St Ambrose High School in Coatbridge, east of Glasgow.

Police Scotland said it still wanted to hear from witnesses regarding Justin’s death.
