7 people shot, one fatally, in Chicago park

One person was killed and six others were injured in a shootout near a baseball field in a Chicago park on Tuesday evening.

The shots opened at around 7:45 p.m. in Washington Park, on the city’s south side, following a “personal dispute” between two groups of Chicago Deputy Chief of Police Fred Melian. Told In a press conference.
