Host Jasmine Herman had a spot on hand when a domestic predator started crying while watching one on the Channel 4 show.
Jasmine comforts Claire, who was overcome with emotion while searching for the perfect pad north of Fuerteventura, around the lively town of Corrallejo.
Claire and her partner Gary had a budget of £200,000 to spend on the holiday home during the episode.
His list of needs included plenty of outdoor space for him and his twin daughters, as well as at least two bedrooms.
The first property on Jasmine’s list was a two-bed house with a communal pool which cost £209,402.
But the couple weren’t impressed with the open plan living area and Claire commented: “It’s nice but maybe a little small.”
Second on the list was a three-bed townhouse with a communal pool and tennis court, gardens in front and back, as well as a roof terrace with ocean views.
It was all on offer of £200,885, which impressed both Gary and Claire.
Gary said: “Nice location outside. That’s what we asked for.”
As Claire put it: “Can’t think of anything negative so far.”
When the couple went to the terrace of the terrace and saw the breathtaking views there, their senses were blown away.
Gary said out loud: “Oh look at it.”
“Wow, you’ve got your sea view,” said Claire.
Gary continued: “It’s not just that, it’s the view of the ocean, the view of the island.
“It’s a wonderfully spectacular sight.”
It was at this point that Claire became tearful and admitted: “It’s more than I could have expected.”
As Jasmine joined the couple on the roof terrace, Claire told her: “I guess you can tell by my tears that it’s cute.”
“What did we ask”
Jasmine asked: “Oh, is this making you a little emotional?”
To which Claire replied: “Very.”
At which point the property expert leaned in to give Claire a hug to rest, exclaiming: “Oh darling.”
Claire explained her tears and said: “I could just see us here. It’s like the icing on the top of the cake.
“The house is fabulous, but it’s just… well, I couldn’t imagine a place that big.”
Gary and Claire both agreed before leaving that the property was a claimant.
But at the end of Dekha a U-turn the couple decided not to make an offer.
He explained that Claire’s health struggles meant she realized she would need to return in search of a bungalow with no stairs.
Spaces to air on Channel 4 at 3 pm on weekdays.
