‘Baby-Sitters Club’ star reveals her name is actually Ali-Si-Yuh
Alicia Silverstone has a blast on fans.
The 44-year-old actress recently TIC Toc To participate in a game that asks players to learn how to pronounce their name and how people constantly misspell it.
“My name is Ali-see-yuh…not Ali-sha,” the “Clueless” star revealed with a shrug before repeating the correct pronunciation.
In the caption, she added: “Just an FYI… it’s Ali-see-yuh.”

She also took to the post’s comments to elaborate.

“It doesn’t bother me though!” She wrote. “My dear mama didn’t like it… so for her… ok! Ali-si-yuh.”
Fans were shocked by the non-revealing revelations after decades of mispronouncing his name.
“I didn’t know what,” commented one viewer.
“Okay looks like I’ve been saying your name the wrong way my whole life haha,” wrote another.
A third added: “Sorry until I’ve questioned my whole life…”

Others made jokes about her “clueless” character, named Cher.
“Um… it’s ‘Cher’ but okay…” said one.
Another joked: “Her name is Cher, the Cher people mispronounce it [as] Alicia.”
Silverstone started TikTok last week to recreate an iconic “Clueless” scene, but recruited its son, Bear, to help out.
In the video, Silverstone wore a black and yellow plaid jacket similar to the one she wore in the film and her accessories for “Just a Girl” by No Doubt.
As one of Silverstone’s co-stars followed suit, Bear tried to simply wrap his arm around his mother’s shoulder.
“Ew! Get away from me,” the actress pushed away with her original dialogue as well. “Uh, man!”
The loving mother then smiled as she pulled her son back in for a hug and a kiss on his head.
“Uh! Guess… I won’t be joining TikTok,” he joked in the caption.
