“If he truly accepts his responsibility, it will shut down the Kercher family, it will end the speculation surrounding this matter, it will restore my unfairly damaged reputation, and that of Raphael.

“His honest media coverage will also be exhausted,” wrote Ms Knox, who endlessly repeats the phrase ‘the only person convicted of the murder of British student Meredith Kercher’, which is true, but it means that many responsible There were parties.”

“People change. Rudy? They say the truth will set you free. Today he’s free, and he hasn’t told the truth yet, allows others to bear the burden of his guilt.”

At the time, Ms Knox was furious at the decision to allow Guede to be released from prison while she continued to claim her innocence and pleaded guilty to murder.

“I’m not upset that Rudy Gede is free. I’m not bothered that the journalists who still defame me to this day are humanizing him, citing his lawyers who claim he is ‘cool and are socially well-integrated’,” she wrote in a medium Post.

“I am upset that he has never admitted to his crimes, that he has never been held fully accountable, and that I continue to bear the burden of his slander.”
