Daredevil Jonathan Goodwin was stuck between two cars in the air
Jonathan Goodwin, a stuntman on “America’s Got Talent: Extreme”, is reportedly in the hospital after being injured by a daring stunt that left him unresponsive.
TMZ, citing sources, reports that Goodwin was performing a stunt in a straitjacket that saw her hanging from a string by her feet as two cars were also swinging in the air on either side of her. Goodwin was tasked with releasing himself from the restraints and attempting to land on an air mattress as he and the vehicle swung in the air.
The stunt reportedly took a catastrophic turn when the waving cars collided with each other, with Goodwin in the middle of them. The cars then exploded “into a giant fireball”. outlet report, causing Goodwin to fall to the ground and hit his head.
Sources said Goodwin had not been reacting since the accident and some were not even sure whether he was alive.

The report said Daredevil was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery. His condition is not clear at the moment.
Representatives for the show did not immediately return Granthshala News’ request for comment.
Goodwin has a long resume when it comes to performing the unimaginable. Their website bio describes him as a “professional menace” who “put himself in the most extreme situations and dodge death every time.”
He has starred in several TV shows around the world including “Dangerman” on BBC America. He also works as a stunt consultant and motivational speaker.
Earlier this month “America’s Got Talent: Extreme” was announced as an expansion to the “America’s Got Talent” franchise. WWE Superstar Nikki Bella, rally car driver Travis Pastrana and Simon Cowell will serve as judges. Terry Crews will host.
The show is yet to get a premiere date. NBC announced that the contestants would face off in an intense showdown, all with a chance to win a $500,000 prize and the title of champion of the season.
According to TMZ, Goodwin appeared in “America’s Got Talent” in 2020, where he did another bold stunt.
