Things have taken an unexpectedly adult turn in Island Paradise Animal Crossing: New Horizons, as the latest DLC (downloadable content) for Nintendo’s family-friendly life sim, has turned its new cafe into a nudist’s haven.

To be clear, anthropomorphic villagers shedding their wardrobes in the expansion of the beloved Nintendo Switch game isn’t an intentional feature. Instead, it appears to be a bug affecting some players’ islands, introduced as part of a recent expansion pack.
as seen by eurogamerThe glitch is mainly taking place at The Roast, the new coffee shop introduced as part of the “Happy Home Paradise” expansion, which returns fan-favorite character Brewster.

What caused the error is currently unknown. However, a major part of the given cloth is animal crossing gameplay, some players suspect the bug has something to do with the ability to create and share custom designs.

Although Nintendo hasn’t commented on this or resolved the issue yet, it’s ultimately a pretty mild issue that most players are finding amusing. After all, even without clothes animal cross Villagers are nothing but cute animals – and island rock star Keke Slider initially never had clothes on.
It’s likely that it will soon recover and everyone will be fully dressed again, but in the meantime, the players are having fun with their casual nudist colonies.
