Ollis has appealed again for a dog walker who helped him contact a woman in east London after she was raped.
The Good Samaritan speaks to a 19-year-old victim near St Leonard’s Church on Shoreditch High Street on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 5 a.m.
He came to the victim and a friend outside the church and took them both to Shoreditch Overground station.
Dog Walker is described as white and between 30-40 years old and his dog is believed to be a large, short haired Mastiff type breed.
The Met’s DC Rob Johnston, who is leading the investigation, said: “This man helped the woman at night and I’m appealing to her to help us now.
“We have shared this image at that time and on several occasions before, but I am renewing this appeal in the hope that the person will come forward because he or she may not realize that the victim reported to the police.”
Five days after the incident, a 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of rape but released under investigation.
If you identify yourself as the person described or if you have any information that may help with the investigation call the police on 101 and quote CAD 1551/30NOV21 or tweet @MetCC.
