Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of marketing, also tweeted about the mid-October incident, noting that “these next six days are going to accelerate.”

The upcoming laptops could have screen resolutions of 3456 x 2234 and 3024 x 1964 for the 14-inch and 16-inch models, MacRumors report, citing code from the latest macOS Monterey.

This would give both laptops a density of around 226 to 227 pixels per inch. For comparison, the 13-inch MacBook Pro has a pixel density of 227, while the current 16-inch model has a pixel density of 226.

Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of marketing, also tweeted about the mid-October incident, noting that “these next six days are going to accelerate.”

In July, it was reported that the new MacBook Pro screen would use 10,000 Mini-LEDs to allow for higher brightness, deeper blacks and localized backlighting.

The new screen, which Apple refers to as the Liquid Retina XDR Display, is already available on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro released in April.

TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said earlier this year that it’s also possible that the new laptops will sport the magnetic MagSafe chargers of the years.

MagSafe chargers allow the computer to charge and if one accidentally trips over the cord, the charger pops out of the laptop, leaving the computer as is.

In January, Bloomberg also informed Apple will bring back magnetic charging to the upgraded MacBook Pros.

The new laptops may also include an SD card slot and HDMI output, along with a new processor and new design.

Apple is also reportedly working on a new MacBook Air, Mac Pro, iMac and updated Mac Mini.

Under the leadership of CEO Tim Cook, Apple has seen a resurgence in Mac sales during the past 12 months as many employees work from home during the pandemic, resulting in a new rush for new devices.

in the company latest quarter, Mac’s revenue stood at $8.2 billion, up 16.3 percent year-over-year.

It accounted for about 10 percent of Apple’s total quarterly revenue during this period.

In addition to the new computers, Apple may introduce new AirPods at the event, a product that hasn’t seen a design refresh since 2019.

earlier this year, bloomberg informed of The Cupertino, California-based tech giant will unveil its latest version of the entry-level AirPods with a new case and shorter stems.

The new design of the popular wireless headphones, first introduced in September 2016, is expected to be similar to the more expensive AirPod Pros.

The new version of AirPods Pro may have motion sensors to enable better fitness tracking.

Entry-level AirPods with charging case for $159, $199 with wireless charging case, while AirPods Pro retail for $249.

In the company’s most recent quarter, revenue for its wearables, home and accessories segment was $7.8 billion, up from $6.2 billion in the same quarter a year ago.

In May, Cook reiterated his stance that the accessories segment, which includes AirPods, should outperform as more people head into retail stores and try them on.

‘I think it will take some time,’ Cook said, ‘but my view would be that as stores get back up to speed, up to full speed, we should be able to increase some accessory sales,’ Cook said.

In September, Apple unveiled its new iPhone, the Apple Watch, and an iPad mini.
