Apple has launched a new MacBook Pro, which comes with a total redesign.

The new computer comes in two sizes — 14- and 16-inch — and includes the new M1 Pro and Max chips that Apple says are the most powerful ever to be placed in a laptop.

This allows the 16-inch version of the computer to work several times faster than the previous version, which was released in late 2019. Apple said that with its more expensive and powerful M1 Max chip, the new MacBook Pro can perform multiple tasks. About five times faster than the older Intel-based machine.

The new professional version of the M1 is also much faster than the current version, which had already garnered widespread praise for its speed and efficiency. The M1 Pro has up to 70 percent faster CPU performance than the regular M1, and the M1 Max adds even more GPU power to give it four times faster performance than its predecessor.

Apple made a whole slew of similar claims about the new computer’s world-leading performance. It said the screen, audio system and other features were among the best of any notebook.

In many ways the new MacBook Pro brings back the old features. It gets rid of the Touch Bar that added a display to the top of the keyboard, and brings back the MagSafe charger that allows the computer to be unplugged when pulled away from its charger.

Rumors had indicated that Apple would be making both moves in the new computer. He praised some of the company’s followers, who argued that the introduction of the Touch Bar and the removal of ports such as MagSafe and HDMI plugs made the computer worse than it used to be.

But the new MacBook Pro also adds entirely new features and improvements, including a flat design that actually increases the size of the computer. It is now more flat and square than before, which is in line with the design of the iPad and iPhone.

The display has also been changed a lot. It includes the same LED display technology as the new iPad Pro, and finally brings Apple’s ProMotion fast-refresh screen to the Mac — and it even extends to the sides of the display, which has a notch at the top to house the camera.

That camera has also been improved. Apple said its resolution has been doubled to 1080p, and there are improvements that allow it to work twice as fast, even in the dark.

The sound has also been improved for both the microphone and the speaker. Apple claimed that the audio is much sharper and deeper than the previous version.

Even with their added performance, the computers are much more efficient than their predecessors, Apple said. The battery lasts up to 21 hours on the larger version, depending on the task, and Apple says this is the longest battery life ever on a Mac.

Apple also noted that the computers made by many of its competitors in the professional notebook market tend to drop their performance when unplugged and run on battery. The company said the new MacBook Pros are able to maintain the same speed, although it is getting its own power.

The 14-inch Pro starts at $1,999, and the larger 16-inch starts at $2,499. They come in Silver and Space Grey, and can be purchased starting next week.

All of them will include a version of the M1 Pro or M1 Max chips that Apple revealed during the same live stream announcement.

Until now, more of Apple’s high-powered computers relied on Intel’s chips, even after Apple launched its M1 chips last year. The new versions of the MacBook Pro are the first of Apple’s silicon Macs to focus on the truly professional end of the market, with Apple showing them in a variety of contexts, including music production and film editing.

Apple also introduced the new AirPods 3 as well as a cheaper music subscription during the same event.
