He then won the technical challenge, which saw bakers make 15 olive-adorned ciabatta breadsticks with mouth-watering Tzatziki Dip.
But before the challenge began, Giuseppe, who lives in Bristol, shared his concern and admitted that he had never made ciabatta bread before the show.

Going into the final showstopper, Giuseppe Star Baker was a firm favorite to win—and rose to the challenge when she created a jaw-dropping milk bread collection called Your Five a Day.

One wrote on Twitter: “Foccacia, ciabatta….. what Italian bread will they be making in the showstopper round. I think Bread Week has been biased in favor of #GBBO so far.”
Another posted, “Kinda thinks Giuseppe had cheat codes on #gbbo this week.”
A third shared: “Guseppe was always going to star the baker in Italian week, I mean bread week.”
“Never could have predicted that Italian Giuseppe would become the star baker in a week where they essentially make two Italian breads. #GBBO” commented a fourth.
Despite some online uproar, many fans were delighted to see that the Italian has been crowned star baker.
