The musician, whose latest record ‘The Night Chancers’ came out in 2020, will release the career-spanning collection on December 3 via Heavenly Recordings. You can pre-order / pre-save it from Here.

Speaking about his haunting and hypnotic new song, Durie described ‘DOA’ as “a kind of provincial nod to music during lockdown as my son Cosmo was playing it – Frank Ocean, Tyler The Creator and Kendrick Lamar”.

“I became obsessed. They are embracing everything – sexuality, politics, all of it – and I find that inspiring,” he said.

Featuring Drury’s best work in his first six LPs, the 12-track “Mr. Maserati…” also featured the songs “Miami”, “I’m Not Your Dog”, “Cocaine Man” and “Carlage’s Got a Boyfriend”. Are included. You can check out the full tracklist below.

01. ‘Miami’
02. ‘I’m Not Your Dog’
03. ‘Leaked at the Disco’
04. ‘Cocaine Man’
05. ‘Palm Trees’
06. ‘Hi’

08. ‘Claire’
09. ‘Girls of other men’
10. ‘Carla’s Got a Boyfriend’

during an interview with Granthshala Last year, Durie recalled that she was advised not to release ‘Miami’ by “some fairly hardcore people” – which appeared on her 2017 album, ‘Prince of Tears’ – “because the feeling was too strong. And they didn’t feel it would ever be acceptable”.

“But I just took a risk and went for it,” he explained. “You know, it’s nice to create a character through which you can wash away your more vitriolic parts. When I sing it, I always forget the lyrics and just talk about occasional — or non-thematic — nonsense. Am.”
