American Accountability Foundation President Tom Jones described Thursday’s visit as “obvious pay-to-play.”

“Whether it’s ambassadors or other senior administrative positions, the Biden administration has consistently rewarded those who have financially fueled their campaigns,” he told Granthshala Business. “Given Biden’s position for the past 40 years, it should come as no surprise to continue the bogus practices of relentless paid-to-play.”

The White House did not return Granthshala Business’s request for comment.
