Porter is set to release his fifth studio album next year
Billy Porter has shared a bang new single titled ‘Children’, co-written with Grammy-winning songwriter MNEK (Dua Lipa, HER) and Little Mix member Jade Thirwell.

Released today (October 15), the track marks Porter’s debut on Island and Republic. Here’s an inspiring number about Porter’s background as a Broadway actor, as he opens up singing the disco-influenced track: “Look I know times are tough, yeah I mean it’s heartfelt / You ain’t losing the fight, love will fix it / ‘Cause I’ve been there, done that, worn that dress, So you know mom knows it’s best.”

Today’s press release also mentioned that Porter is gearing up to release her fifth studio album in the near future, with “Children” serving as its lead single. Although a release date has not yet been sealed, the currently untitled LP is expected to arrive in 2022.
