Studio taking action against rising death threats
Abandoned Developers Blue Box Game Studios have shared that death threats against employees are on the rise “online but unfortunately also physically”.

Blue Box Game Studios shared a message on Twitter this morning (October 17) “addressed not as a company, but as a group of humans”.
The statement reveals that “the past few days have been tough” and attributed the rise to death threats, both online and physical.
“We have been dealing with death threats for the past few months and for the last few days we are dealing with it again, especially physically. It affects not only us as a team, but everyone in our environment. Other businesses, families and everyone around us.”

“We want to work in a safe environment, and with the jobs to come, we want to provide a safe work environment for future colleagues as well,” the statement said.
The Twitter post stated that Blue Box Game Studios “will not tolerate this” and will “take action by providing” [to] IP addresses, logs and camera footage of officers”.
In the context of Abandoned – which a conspiracy theory secretly called a Hideo Kojima project – Blue Box Game Studios stated “we are fully aware of the negative situation we have created” and reiterated that the team is “working hard”. Abandoned“.
