Jamie could be removed as Britney’s mentor during a hearing today (September 29) in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Britney Spears’ lawyer has hit out at the singer’s father, Jamie Spears, after she objected to someone taking his place as the temporary custodian of Britney’s estate.
Jamie could be removed as Brittany’s custodian during a hearing later today (Sept. 29) in Los Angeles Superior Court, when the former filed for termination of guardianship earlier this month.

Yesterday (September 28) Jamie Spears was seen filing court documents opposing the appointment of a temporary custodian.
Her attorneys argued in the filing that “there is no need for a temporary conservatorship as there are no vacancies in the position of conservator” and that “Mr. Spears is not and should not be suspended, especially since the conservatorship would be terminated soon.” It should be abolished.
The lawsuit continued: “Furthermore, all parties have agreed to the termination of the guardianship. Considering that the Court agrees with the parties and terminates the guardianship, the petition for temporary guardianship shall be deemed controversial without prejudice.” should go.
“Whatever remains to be done to end the protection of the property must be done as efficiently as possible by Mr. Spears, who is familiar with the assets of the Conservatorship Estate, and requires attention to each property, and without abrupt Unnecessary and costly transfer of custody of property to a complete stranger for guardianship.
The filing also claimed that the proposed temporary custodian John Zabel is not qualified to oversee Brittany’s estate. It claims that Zabel, a certified public accountant, “does not have the necessary background and experience to handle a complex, $60 million (approximately) custodial asset on a temporary or immediate basis”.
It also claims that Zabel would not qualify because of his own alleged investment of $1 million in a real estate scam in 2007.
“While it is unfortunate that Mr. Zabel was scammed, the fact remains that he failed to recognize the scam in the hope of a 20 percent return on his investment, and that he had taken adequate due diligence before investing more than a million. failed in his own money, which is very worrying,” the filing said.
“Mr. Spears doesn’t know if Ms. Spears is aware of these disturbing facts; probably not.”
Britney Spears’ attorney Matthew S. Rosengart has now retracted the claims made about Jamie and Zabel in a footnote to a separate legal filing regarding compensation for the custodian and the custodian’s attorneys.
Rosengart stated in the footnote that Zabel is “a highly respected, nationally recognized award-winning CPA with an impeccable record of serving in positions of trust”.
“[This is] The exact opposite of Mr. Spears, an alcohol and gambling addict with zero financial background or experience in financial matters, who previously filed for bankruptcy and a domestic violence restraining order against him is currently in effect,” Rosengart said.
Rosengart claimed that Jamie “wants to (but will not) avoid justice and accountability and that he will clearly do or say anything to avoid it”.
Earlier this week Britney Spears criticized a new documentary that exposed the details of her stereotype.
