BSG shares a first look at Lighthouse, the next ‘Escape From Tarkov’ map

Battlestate Games has shared a first look at some of the sights around the lighthouse, the next map to be added as a raid location escape from tarkov.

Yesterday (September 17), Battlestate Games posted five photos taken around the Lighthouse map, giving fans a first-hand look at what to expect from the hotly anticipated update.

Images show a variety of settings from an upcoming map, including what appears to be a large mansion by Terragroup, as well as more wooden lodges in a wooded environment. There is also a picture that shows how the map will likely be connected to the shoreline when Battlestate games implement that feature, as it displays on the other side of the shoreline’s tunnel exit.


In fact, fans can even get their first look at the lighthouse in question, and the rough terrain around it looks like the building may be very difficult to reach. This matches the previous statements escape from tarkov Director Nikita Buyanov, who warned that the map of the lighthouse would be covered in “rough terrain”.

Earlier this month, Buyanov shared a plethora of details about what to expect from Lighthouse, which the development team aims to release in late 2021. As of now, we know the map will be about half the size of Shoreline, but will likely be far more dangerous due to the addition of new enemies and multiple bosses.

An in-raid trader will also be present (though not at launch), who will be guarded by a very capable sniper.

Buyanov has also teased some details for Streets of Tarkov, which he said will be as big as every other map. escape from tarkov Joint.
