A California recall election worker was “exempted” from her role for wearing proDonald Trump Clothes at work, election officials said.
After a photo of the man circulated on social media, the Los Angeles County registrar-recorder’s office said he was “contacted and advised that the dress was inappropriate and unacceptable.”
“Based on his response and reports that other activists had previously advised him on this, he has been released and is no longer working at the vote center,” the office added on Twitter.
Mike Sanchez, a spokesman for the registrar-recorder’s office, said Monday the man was “consulted and told not to wear anything political”. KTLA.
“But he still came wearing it,” Sanchez said. “Due to his reaction and non-compliance with the rules, he was released.”
