Celebrity SAS star Kieron Dyer burst into tears last night when she remembered her childhood abuse.
The retired footballer called his abuser “a monster” as Ant Middleton and Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham opened up about the trauma.
“I was a victim of sexual abuse as a kid. I was 11 or 12 with a family member and this monster, well, he was the s***ing p***k, who turned me into a monster.” Changed.
“You can go on and on and on and on and on, because of the personality traits I’ve hurt for the rest of my life, family, father, mother, wife, and I’ve always had the mentality of ‘do you know what, because I’m suffering, I am like that’.
“From today, when I come out of here, I am not a victim of sexual abuse. Not anymore. Because every time I am a victim, he wins. Every time I hurt my family, He wins.”
Kieron first revealed his abuse in 2018. At the time he details a traumatic event involving his great uncle, Kenny, who had died years earlier.
The player was forced to withdraw from Celeb SAS after suffering a rib injury in an anger management challenge.
He gave as good as he could in a clash with Jason Fox.
Jason told Ant: “F***ing hell, he got my mind going around.”
Speaking about it later, Kieron admitted: “It felt amazing to get that anger out.
“Something changed in me.
“I thought I was going to kill him.”
After the brutal injury, Kieron’s fellow contestants Wes Nelson and Ald Davis expressed their shock at his behavior.
