Marvel boss Kevin Feige has confirmed that Charlie Cox will play Daredevil should he enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The actor portrayed the superhero — aka Matt Murdock — in Netflix’s brave TV series between 2015 and 2018, and also appeared in sister series defenders,

However, since the end of Marvel’s Netflix show, Cox’s future as a blind hero has remained uncertain – although Feige reassured fans that the character would not be recreated if he appeared in the MCU. .


“If you want to see Daredevil in things to come, Charlie Cox will, yes, be the actor playing Daredevil,” the producer confirmed Cinema Blend, “Where we look, how we see it, when we look, remains to be seen.”

Feige has given no indication as to when and where Daredevil might pop up, although it is rumored to be appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home,

Marvel has also hinted at the character’s association with the Disney+ series Hawkeye Echo — aka Maya Lopez — who is engaged to Murdock in the comics, is being introduced, while an Echo spin-off show is also in the works.

Back in September, Cox called on Jon Bernthal’s Punisher to return to the MCU, admitting he didn’t know “who could do a better version of The Punisher” than Starr.

“And that character is dear, people are crazy for Frank Castle,” he added. Forbes, “So if they’re going to do it again, I hope they do it with him because I don’t think it gets any better than this.”


Jessica Jones actress Kristen Ritter has also expressed her desire to return to the MCU screen rent recently: ,I had the best time doing it and I just love it so much. I am very proud of that character.
