“He clearly told us how dangerous he and Romelu can be together,” Tuchel told reporters.

There was some disappointment from Euros and the first matches, I don’t think he was happy with his performance.

‘So he came early against Tottenham, a clear sign he is on the good side and he can prove it tomorrow.

‘Timo was in better shape and we had him in a dangerous position around Romelu. And he’s got a help… He walks smarter, he’s independent and he makes decisions with more confidence… Hopefully he can push himself and continue that pace.’

Tuchel said under-utilized players would get minutes against Villa but goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is yet to recover from a hip injury and the German coach is expected to return to the big leagues against Manchester City on Saturday. will return.
