‘Chucky’ will return for season two in 2022

Ahead of the show’s season finale on Tuesday (30 November), the TV series adaptation of child’s play has announced that the second season will air in 2022.

Series creator and showrunner Don Mancini said: “We are thrilled to begin pulling the strings on the second season of Puppet Mayhem. Chucky,


“Many thanks to our partners in the United States, Syfy and UCP for their incredible support and guidance. Chucky On the small screen, bigger than ever. And for the fans, Chucky Thanks your immortal, and sends a message: ‘It’s not over, not by a long shot. You better have a pat on your back in 2022!'”

Along with the show, Mancini has written all seven films in the franchise (excluding the 2019 reboot) and directed three of them: Chickpea Seeds, curse of Chucky And Chunky’s Creed,

Serves as a sequel to the TV series Chunky’s Creed, when 14-year-old Jake Wheeler (Jackery Arthur) buys a Good Guy doll at a yard sale, only to find that it carries the spirit of serial killer Charles Lee Ray (Brad Dorrief).

The show’s supporting cast includes Alivia Alyn Lind, Teo Briones, Jennifer Tilly, Lexa Doug, Devon Sawa, and Barbara Alyn Woods.

Chucky Its UK premiere will be received with a double-bill on Sky Max on Friday 3 December at 9 pm. The show will be available on US streaming platform Peacock from December 1.
