Cops hunt ‘sex attacker’ after woman cornered in lift and sexually assaulted

In Liverpool, police are immediately hunting a man after a woman was trapped and sexually assaulted in an elevator.

The woman entered the elevator at the Orleans House building on Earl Street when an unidentified man touched her waist and kissed her on the neck.

She quickly escaped as soon as the lift came to a halt before the attacker could escape after 6.55 a.m. on September 19.

Authorities have now released CCTV footage of a person they want to talk to about the incident that happened last month.

He is seen wearing a high neck jumper, dark jeans and white trainers in the clip.

Detective Inspector Ben Dyer said: “This was an extremely disturbing incident to experience and we are fully supporting the victim as our investigation continues. The person shown in the video and images may hold important information to assist .

“We are determined to find the person responsible and put them before the courts so if you can help, come forward and we will take action.”
