Maryland rapper Corday has released a new single called “Sinister” featuring Lil Wayne – you can listen to it below.

Produced by Hit-Boy, the lyrically charged track is the latest preview from Corday’s upcoming second album From a Bird’s Eye View, following the recent single. ‘Excellent’,

On ‘Sinister’ the chorus hears Corday (formerly YBN Corday) plant his flag in the sand, declaring that what he does is bigger than rap and assuring listeners that hip-hop music will be there for decades to come. Hop will be the mainstay.

,Yeah well, my flow is awful / It ain’t rap music, it’s straight literature / Small minded n***a, all your thoughts are short / They hate you when they can’t get rid of you / I Ain’t going nowhere, 20 year career minimum / Call the hit-boy for the beats, ask for 10 of them / I don’t follow the trends My n***a, I swing the pendulum / If Bitch bags a dipshit, I’m goin’ give her some,” he raps.

Wayne chimes in toward the end, dropping some dizzying wordplay: “Lil’ Tune Flow Sinister, I’m Finish Ya / Many Men Gone need minions, I made men out of them / Enemies, I’m enemas, I’m shit on them.,

As fans await the release of Corday’s new album, they can check out his recent “Just Till…”. EP, which was released back in April.

The four-track project features the Maryland MC collaborating with A Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip on the riveting ‘More Life’ and Atlanta rapper Young Thug on the zippy ‘Wasup’.

Meanwhile, Lil Wayne has announced the “Tha Carter Singles Collection,” which will include 19 previous singles in a limited seven-inch vinyl boxset.

The singles are drawn from Lil Wayne’s highly successful ‘Tha Carter’ series of albums, which included five releases: ‘Tha Carter’ in 2004, ‘Tha Carter II’ in 2005, ‘Tha Carter III’ in 2008, ‘Tha Carter III’ in 2011 Tha Carter IV’, and 2018’s Tha Carter V. The boxset will come complete with liner notes and a booklet of rare photographs.
