Coronation Street’s Julia Golding and Sally Ann Matthews had a blast behind the scenes of the soap’s latest tragedy.

In a photo shared on Instagram, Sally wrapped an arm around Julia while they were swimming in a fake storm gutter.
While in another shot, Julia, wearing a wetsuit, was stunned while diving for a multi-colored beach ball in the pool.
She captioned it: “We had fun in between scenes… storm drain water ball anyone?.”
Sally Ann shared a video of the game, adding: “We grafted in, let me tell you. It was truly one of the best experiences of my professional life. Months and months of preparation and preparation from every department on @coronationstreet Then we got to do it. Best six days ever x.”

But in a disastrous scene, Johnny can hear the voice of his late son, Aidan, calling him dad.
He had previously had visions of Aidan as a symptom of his MS.

As soon as she realized what was going on, Jenny shouted: “Johnny please you just need to stop. I love you.”
After telling Jenny that he loves her too, Johnny slips under the water and leaves Jenny screaming in agony.
In the heartbreaking scenes, Carla sees Jenny being brought out without Johnny and it dawns on her what had happened.
Carla burst into tears and the audience was with her.
One wrote: “Oh, heartbroken to hear Johnny call Edens’ name.”
