A couple are astonished by peeling the shell off a hard-boiled egg and seeing the sunflower pattern ‘artwork’ on the white exterior.
Adeeb Iqbal, 38, and his wife Tanzila, 31, looked like a picture engraved on the egg. Blurred outline of a sunflower emerging from behind a brick wall pattern.
He made this discovery while having breakfast on Tuesday Morning at his home in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, Scotland.
Community pharmacist Adeeb, who is expecting his second child with his wife, said: “It felt so weird!
“I was sitting with the little one in the kitchen and peeled all three eggs. I didn’t notice until Tanzila sat next to me and paid attention to them.
“He asked me if I noticed there were pictures on the eggs while I was peeling them.
“The most obvious detail was the flower at the top, followed by what looked like a bridge and then a block like a wall. There was a lighter shade of pink in the middle.
“My Mrs made a joke saying if the hen is painting eggs in her belly!
“I have a science degree so I’m always looking at the balance of possibilities.
“The chances of boiling a raw egg and producing a flower of a similar size with different colors and visuals must be very, very few and quite extraordinary.
“It looked beautiful and so cool – like a kid had pulled it off.”
Sadly, the next day the peeled egg faded and Adeeb had no choice but to dispose of his egg—traditional art.
