Two tawny nurse sharks are shown swimming under a giant saltwater crocodile, which remains motionless while the animals swim.

The video has resurfaced on social media after being captured in 2017.

In the comments, one viewer wrote: “Who says we can’t all get along?”.

Another said: “Imagine that kind of shark swam two meters away from me when I was snorkeling. My heart stopped beating.”

Nurse sharks only eat prey smaller than themselves – although crocodiles have been known to feast on larger animals.

It comes after a shark was filmed biting an alligator near a dock in South Carolina’s Hilton Head Island earlier this month.

The shark was filmed orbiting the gator, which was being fed by local people, before its teeth suddenly sank into its left leg, causing the animal to jump.

Thankfully there was no damage to the gator and the shark swam to the dock as it swam.

Corey Conlon, who filmed the incident, said: “I was shocked to see this so I filmed it with my phone to show family and friends.”

And in March, photos captured the moment a giant 1,500-pound crocodile ate a bull-shark in just one mouthful.

Moved along the east coast of Australia, the alligator can be seen eating its prey in an unexpected meeting of two apex predators.
