Viewers find out how Martin Harris died cruel Summer Episode 1. At the end of the episode, in a 1994 clip, Janet Turner (Chiara Aurelia) and her parents, Cindy (Sarah Drew) and Greg Turner (Michael Landes), see a breaking news report.

Vincent Fuller (Elius Barnes) hears the gunshot and comes out to ask Janet and Jamie if they’ve heard it too. Jamie insisted it was a car backfiring; However, we do know that it was shot from the home of Martin Harris.

Can Martin Harris Still Survive In ‘Cruel Summer’?

The reference to the book ‘Talented Mr. Ripley’ fits this theory

In cruel Summer Episode 7, Jamie asks Kate what her favorite birthday present was. He wanted her to say the ring of promise that he had given her. However, Kate gave a special and strange answer.
