The thug, who was just 13 at the time, attacked Ollie in Reading, Berkshire after a social media controversy.

Recalling the moment they found their son, mother Amanda Stephens said that husband Stuart ran barefoot through the house where Ollie was dying.

She said: “I remember when I got there, Stuart was down on his knees and he was yelling ‘my boy, my boy, no’.

“I looked up and Ollie was completely lifeless.”

As the paramedics fight to revive Ollie, the devastated Stuart is possessed by his son.

He said: “I knelt down and held his hand and there was no reaction and he was cold and lifeless.

“It strikes my mind that when I went out into the field, everyone would turn around – they had horror written on their faces.”

Stuart has also reprimanded a “vainly selfish girl” who lured her son, who had autism, to a “brutal execution”.

A 14-year-old girl tricked Ollie into coming to a popular dog-walking arena, where she was stabbed in a frenzied ambush by two other boys, who were just 13 at the time, at the victim’s home. It was only one stone away.

Coming face to face with his son’s killers in court, Ollie’s father, Stuart Stephens, relives the horrific moment to find his son dying.

He described the girl as “selfish” and blamed the three “equally” for the murder during his tear-jerking victim impact statement.

Stuart, who struggled to get his words out at the witness stand, said: “Oli is trapped and killed because of the brutal actions of a vain selfish girl.

“The day she walked into his life is a day we will always regret.

“We as a family hold all three of you equally responsible for his death, there will never be an apology from our side.

“We are no longer the people we were and we will never be the same again.”

The boys, now 14, were convicted of murdering the victim after a trial at Reading Crown Court this summer.

He was today sentenced to 12 and 13 years in a youth criminal institution.

The girl set up an “ambush” and had already admitted to murder and did not stand trial.

He was given only three years and two months.

The three defendants cannot be named because of their age.

Stuart said that his actions “turned our son into a bag of ashes”, adding: “I had one job as a father, to protect my children, and I failed miserably – myself. I’ll never forgive you.”

nothing short of performance

Ollie’s mother, Amanda, said: “Why didn’t just one of them take steps to prevent this from happening, why didn’t anyone care to stand up for him?

“Oli always stood up for the underdog, it got him in trouble, but he was just that.”

Jurors were previously told that Ollie’s killers had shared several hostile messages about her on Snapchat in the days before she was stabbed.

The girl said in a message: “Karma – that” [Olly] deserves all of this.”

The victim was persuaded to go to Bugs Bottom Field, where two boys “ambushed” her and stabbed her to death.

The younger of the two boys inflicted fatal blows on Oli’s body.

bone cold

The little boy was sentenced to murder and mutilation during justice after disposing of the clothes he was wearing at the time of the attack.

The older boy was sentenced to manslaughter, and two counts of subverting the course of justice by removing apps from his mobile phone, and for throwing away the clothes he wore during the assault, which he denied, but He was convicted.

The girl pleaded guilty to murder and perverting the course of justice by deleting data from her mobile phone.

The trial was conducted under special circumstances, with repeated breaks due to the defendant’s age and the lawyer having removed his gown and wig.

Speaking outside the court, Detective Chief Constable Andy Howard said: “No parent should have to fear their child dying like this.

“A 13-year-old boy with a bright future has died in violent and dire circumstances and his family and friends are devastated by his loss, and three other youths and their families have their lives changed forever.

“The implications for their future are also disastrous.”

Poignant victim impact statement of murder of parents of 13-year-old schoolboy Ollie Stephens

Stuart Stephens recalled the moment in court when he found his wing-man son dying in an area known as Bugs Bottom.

Addressing the young defendants in court, Mr. Stephens said: “We as a family hold the three of you equally responsible for their deaths, there will never be any pardon on our part. We are no longer those people.” We are who we were and we will never be the same again.

“Oli got trapped and killed because of the cruel actions of a vain selfish girl. The day she walked into his life is a day we will always regret.

“What all this destruction for? Rumors, gossip, lies and deceit. Your actions have turned our son into a bag of ashes, he did not deserve this fate. No child deserves such a harsh end.

“Oli was unaware of what was being planned for him and was unarmed. The ruthlessness with which he had planned it chilled us to the bone. It was nothing less than a gallows.

“Whether this is how we repay our soldier, we have created a society where the needs of our children are neglected and therefore they kill each other.”

“I had one job as a father, to protect my children, and I failed miserably – I’ll never forgive myself.”

she added: “[Olly] He did not deserve his fate no matter what he said or did, no child deserves such a harsh fate.

“We will always yearn for time with our son, the love of our child overshadows everything we do. It is because of jealousy and rumors that our son is gone.

“It turns my stomach to think of her final moments every day, to smother her like this. One wrongdoing has condemned us all to a pitiful future.

“We worked very hard as parents to provide a loving environment for our children, this was our reward.

“Oli’s ruthlessly brutal murder has ripped the soul of our family. No justice can make us compensate for our loss.”

Ollie’s mother Amanda said: “Why didn’t just one of them step in to stop this from happening, why didn’t anyone care to stand up for him?

“Oli always stood up for the underdog, it got him in trouble, but he was just that.”
