Olympic BMX star Kay White has become the ninth star to join the lineup for Dancing on Ice 2022.
The 22-year-old silver medalist joked that he was the last celebrity to sign up for the show after its success in Tokyo over the summer.
Kai joins stars including Strictly Come Dancing pro Brendan Cole, singer Rachel Stevens and Love Island’s Liberty Pool, who, after suffering several setbacks last year due to the COVID pandemic, will hit the ice next year for a new series.

Speaking on CBBC’s ‘Newsround’ on Thursday, Kai said: ‘I feel good. I passed [roller-skated] We will see how it goes when I was younger.’
Asked how long he kept the secret, he said: ‘Only three or four weeks. I think I was the last one to be selected.
‘I wasn’t told not to tell anyone and I’m waiting for the big reveal. My family knows. My dad and my brother roller-skate so I guess they’re excited.’

The biker, who won silver for the first time since his BMX debut at the Olympics this year, admitted that he is not worried when the snow falls, and is confident he can win the ITV ice skating series.
He said: ‘When I auditioned I related it to roller-skating, so I think I did pretty well… I think the thing I’m really sure about is that if I don’t really care if I fall, I’m quite fearless. I think I can win ‘Dancing on Ice’.
‘I would love to see if I can make it to the final because, as I said, I am very competitive. you know what? I want to finalize.

A source told MailOnline, ‘Brendan is extremely competitive. He wants to go all the way and win Dancing on Ice.
‘Dancing is his profession, so he already has a lifetime of experience, but is a novice when it comes to performing on an ice rink.’
On Wednesday, Brendan appeared on Loose Women to discuss her participation on the show, admitting she struggled with her first attempt at ‘wobble’ at skating.
He said: ‘I have to go once. I’m a pretty confident person and I love to think I’m going to be good at holding my hand or my feet! I was right thinking I’d be fine, I’m out there and I was terrible.

‘I was stumbling a little. You can expect a little wobble on the ice but I was hoping I was going to be better than I was.
‘I have time to learn. I am just going to embrace the whole experience and I am very excited to start it.
Despite this, he said: ‘I am very excited. It’s been some time now. I know I have been doing the show for a long time and I want to start, I am very excited to be on the show.
‘Now staying away from the stage for so long. I think in March last year I finished my theater production and all the lockdown happened. To be back on a big stage — and it’s a very big, very cold stage — I can’t tell you how excited I am.
‘Having these opportunities means a lot to us in the entertainment industry and I’m going to take it with both skates!’
