‘Dead By Daylight’ is selling game models as NFTs, and fans aren’t happy

Behavior Interactive has announced that it will sell dead by daylight NFTs, are gaining fan feedback in the process.

In a new Twitter post last night (October 18), the developer shared an update dbd The community revealed that it has been working behind the scenes for several months to optimize in-game Hellraiser Model for use as NFT.

“Behavior worked for several months with Boss Protocol to adapt the in-game models for use as NFTs and approved them before the release of Pinhead in DBD. NFTs have access to these. have a chance #hellraiser Chapter of DBD,” the post read.


In a follow-up tweet, Behavior said: “Park Avenue Entertainment and Boss Protocol are great partners and it’s a pleasure to work with them. #hellraiser for DBD. “

Boss Protocol website displays dead by daylight NFT is available, which includes A. also includes HellraiserPinhead character models from the game version as well as a chatter, a lament configuration, and another mystery item.

The behavior has received backlash since last night’s announcement, with many fans expressing their dismay at the developer, as the process of making NFTs is known to be extremely harmful to the environment.

NFT is a non-fungible token and is a digital item that uses blockchain technology to allow people to make payments and have ownership over them. They can be used to reproduce a variety of digital files as “unique objects” such as videos, photos and more. In this case, the behavior is giving fans a chance to basically own Hellraiser NFT but not physically.

It has been confirmed that no game content is locked behind NFTs, but some Hellraiser collectibles will “unlock some pinhead NFT access”.
