Demi Lovato celebrates “little wins” after filming first-ever sex scene

Demi Lovato is celebrating her “random explosion of body confidence” after filming her first sex scene.

Singer and actor, who got his big acting debut in 2008 Disney film camp Rock, took to instagram To share a picture of herself lying down and posing in black underwear yesterday (July 20).

“Was filming a sex scene today,” he wrote. “My first one! I was a little worried going into it, but the cast and crew were so professional and easy to work with, it immediately calmed me down. Then, I thought it necessary to feel comfortable enough in my skin to do so How proud I am to be able to.”


Lovato continued: “I rarely showed my arms before.. now I’m in it!! (Supposedly, it barely shows anything but still) I don’t always feel good in my own skin, so when I do, and I feel sexy enough to post – I do just that! It’s important to celebrate small victories. Yay for this random burst of body confidence and yay for the weirdly hilarious sex. “

While it’s unclear what project Lovato was filming for, he is gearing up to star and executive produce an upcoming NBC comedy series about eating disorders titled empty stomach.

The ‘Dancing with the Devil’ singer is also set to host her own talk show, Demi Lovato Display, later this month on the Roku Channel on July 30. They also landed the limited series titled UFO Investigations. Unknown with Demi Lovato.

Last week, Lovato said of having the wrong gender, saying it’s “okay” if people mispronounce them because the change in pronouns “can be confusing”.


In a post on Instagram that aligns with Non-Binary Awareness Week, Lovato said it’s okay to misrepresent her but it’s important for her that people try and get their pronouns right.

Meanwhile, Lovato, Lorde, Billie Eilish and The Weeknd are among the star-studded array of performers slated to perform as part of global citizen live in September.
