A customer has been slammed after spending £37,000 at the celebrity restaurant Nusser-et Steakhouse in Knightsbridge, London.

The receipt shows that around £30,000 of the meal was spent on expensive wine, while the gold-stained steak came in at £850 and 20 baklava at £600.

The cheapest items, other than water, were mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms, which came in at £12 each.

Commenting on the receipt, a Reddit user wrote: ‘Robot in broad daylight. At least with Michelin you have somewhere that has been strictly understood to charge a high amount. And it will cost almost 37 times less!’

‘I was fortunate enough to meet Nusrat and she is a lovely, humble man. The theater was absolutely spectacular with Nusrate slicing the signature steak and then later another gentleman performing the baklava.’
