One of Doug the Bounty Hunter’s daughters has dismissed her father’s search for Brian Laundry as little more than a publicity stunt.
Cecily Chapman, 28, is the estranged daughter of Duane Chapman aka Doug the Bounty Hunter.
Ms Chapman reportedly said Sun that she wanted her father to back down from the search and leave efforts to find Mr. Laundry to the FBI. She said the search for her father was “just a publicity stunt”.
She claimed the images were “perfectly staged” of Mr Chapman walking through waist-deep water during his search and questioned how he was bringing his latest effort into the limelight.
“A real network would be aware of the situation and I’m pretty sure everyone knows this is a ****** publicity stunt,” she said.
The Bounty Hunter’s estranged daughter also laughed at the claim, saying Mr Chapman had made a meaningful contribution to Mr Laundry’s search.
“What, you can have a demon energy? What does it do to someone?” She said, referring to some trash bins found by Mr Chapman while searching Mr Laundry near the campground at Fort DeSoto. They believed this was evidence that Mr Laundry had passed through the area.
However, following Brian Laundry’s discovery it has become common for social media users to say that they will never pay taxes again if Mr. Chapman finds the man before the FBI, the former reality TV star’s daughter has been told this. The possibility is doubtful.
“To be completely honest with you, the FBI would never let Doug the Bounty Hunter catch Brian — the FBI is very proud of him,” she said.
While Mr. Chapman was known for showing his family – especially his late wife, Beth – on his reality TV shows and preaching the importance of those relationships, his immediate family broke up during his A&E show. “Dog the Bounty Hunter” And from that time on.
Mr. Chapman’s two sons and his two daughters – including Cecily – are separated from him.
Cecily and her sister Bonnie are both critical of their father, with Bonnie accusing him of being racist and homophobic, as well as accusing him of cheating on her mother.
Mr Chapman told Page Six that his daughters are working for people who want to tarnish his image.
“Unfortunately, Bonnie and Cecily have been employed with a number of felonies by disgruntled former associates who seek revenge at any cost and are attempting to tarnish my reputation,” Chapman said.
The former reality TV star has been looking for Mr. Laundry for two weeks. He received a tip that the Laundry family was staying at the Fort DeSoto campground, and has spent $10,000 of his own money as a reward for the capture of Mr.
Mr Chapman has reportedly been contacted by some TV networks about featuring in a new TV show, although those claims are currently only rumours.
