After getting back in her car, the woman gets back in her car and drives off, pushing a couple of them onto the road.

Others on the side of the road can also be heard swearing at the Insulate Britain protesters.

The confrontation began when the woman pulled in her Range Rover and stepped out to protest with the protesters.

“I’m not kidding, my son has to go to school, get off the road,” she said.

As a female protester explains why they are demonstrating, the woman explodes: “My son is 11, he has to go to school and I have to go to work.

“Then get out of the way. Let me get my son to school.”

At that point the furious woman gets back in her car and drives over a pair of demonstrators.

As a man she can hear shouting “push them”, she then drives into their back.

She then walks out and yells: “I don’t care what the f*****g issue is, my son needs to go to school.”

The video appears to have been shot when the mother driving the school and the lorry drivers were parked at an industrial estate near Dartford Crossing in Purfleet, Essex.

Insulate Britain is an Extinction Rebellion off-shoot campaign group.

Its environmental warriors are calling on the UK government to put in place policy and funding for a national home insulation programme.

Starting with all social housing, he has demanded that Prime Minister Boris Johnson make “significant legislative changes to reduce emissions”.

Protesters have caused misery for motorists in recent weeks with protests on Britain’s busiest motorway.

The group has faced a lot of accusations about hypocrisy – and ringleader Liam Norton himself admitted that he “doesn’t care” about insulation.

Exclusively revealed that Norton – who attacked Good Morning Britain after a conflict with Susannah Reid – doesn’t even insulate her home.
