Eleanor traded her Poldark petticoat and corset for a high visibility vest as she did community service as Gabby in Bristol Park last month.

Holding a takeaway coffee and a hot water bottle, the actress was seen relaxing on the sets.

Filming for the program halted after only 12 days due to health concerns, but work has continued since Britain’s third national lockdown began to ease.

It is understood that the BBC has already started a second series of the show – before the first has even finished post-production.

Broadcaster demand means that both series’ one and two are being filmed back-to-back in Somerset, with award-winning production company Big Talk accusing it of putting it all together.

Reflecting on the BBC’s unorthodox decision to commission the second series before assessing the popularity of the first, Big Talk boss Kenton Allen told Deadline: ‘We said, “If you commission Season 2 we will write Season 2 “.

“We were able to rewrite Season 1 so that we knew what was going to happen to the characters in Season 2. We were able to deepen it and layer it.’

The new show will also star Darren Boyd, Gamba Cole, Ryan Barreto and Claire Perkins.
