Broadcaster demand means that both series’ one and two are being filmed back-to-back in Somerset, with award-winning production company Big Talk accusing it of putting it all together.
Reflecting on the BBC’s unorthodox decision to commission the second series before assessing the popularity of the first, Big Talk boss Kenton Allen told Deadline: ‘We said, “If you commission Season 2 we will write Season 2 “.
