Winslet wins ‘Mayor of Easttown’ and Sudeikis wins ‘Ted Lasso’
The Emmys ended with a big bang after an evening that highlighted television’s biggest shows and stars in show-stopping fashion thanks to hosting Cedric the Entertainer.
After the show ended, many of the night’s biggest winners entered the backstage press room, where they asked questions from reporters who appeared virtually.
Asked a common question? How “Mayor of Easttown” star Kate Winslet and “Ted Lasso” lead, Jason Sudeikis, respectively, will be celebrating their big wins.
“I think we’re probably going to get drunk,” Winslet, 45, told reporters on the backstage mic before speaking on the challenges she and the cast and crew faced during filming of the series.
