This left him without commentary and a real taste of what was unfolding at T-Mobile Arena.

BT Sport aired pre-fight interviews with Tommy Fury and Lennox Lewis, as well as several other bouts prior to the main event.

Fury’s sparring partner Jared Anderson secured a second round victory against Vladimir Tereshkin before Robert Helenius stopped Adam Konaki in the sixth round of another heavyweight clash.

Fans raged over the technical issues and took to Twitter to vent their anger.

One fan tweeted: “Totally joke 24.95 Pay for the fight and no sound? Can this be resolved?”

Another said: “Paid for PPV hours ago and still no sound. Followed all online help guides and still nothing!! Beyond the ruckus! Need help.”

A third said: “Actually two hours 40 minutes into this PPV and still no sound it’s a joke from the BT Sport box office.”

Some fans may even have missed the welcoming sound of Fury coming to the arena two hours before their match.

The Gypsy King looked relaxed with his wife Paris, before sending one final pre-fight message to his fans back home.
