The father of missing 22-year-old Gabby Petito, whose body is believed to have been found earlier today, has posted a tribute to his daughter on Twitter.
The photo showed Ms Petito smiling as she stood in front of a mural of colorful angel wings, with a bag hanging over her shoulder.
Joseph Petito captioned the post with a broken heart and the words: “#gabbypettito He touched the world”.
The reaction was mourned as news spread around the world that a dead body, possibly the body of Ms. Petito, had been discovered in Grand Teton National Park.
In a press conference on Sunday, the FBI offered condolences to Ms Petito’s family as they shared news that the body matched the description of the missing Vans-Life blogger, who went missing in late August.
Although they have yet to announce any forensic confirmation of the body’s identity, the FBI said Ms. Petito’s family had been notified.

Ms. Petito was blogging about her cross-country adventures in a campervan with her fiancé Brian Laundry. Mr Laundier returned home from his trip alone in early September and refused to speak to police.
He has been named a Person of Interest in the investigation, and his family has since announced that he is missing. Police have launched a search for Mr Laundry and confirmed on Saturday that it was a missing person investigation and that he is not currently wanted in connection with a crime.
