Joseph Petito is determined to use his daughter’s death as a catalyst to create more awareness about domestic violence.
Mr Pettito has shared a never-before-seen image of his daughter Gabby Pettito on Instagram and Twitter, holding hands with two young boys with a call to “do better”.
The Petito family has dedicated itself to using publicity for the disappearance and death of 22-year-old Ms. Petito to draw attention to missing persons cases and domestic violence.
they have founded Gabby Petito Foundation Helping missing children to reunite with their parents.
The foundation has begun accepting donations and plans to hold a fundraiser on October 17th in Long Island, New York.
On Saturday, Mr Petito shared a photo of his daughter on Twitter, along with the message that she was “already saving lives”.
“So many stories are being sent to us that relationships are abandoned with no proper planning for safety, and people are being found out because of the impact he has. We have more to do, but this is a start. Is.”

All four of Ms. Petito’s parents and step-parents, as well as Ms. Petito’s grandmother Mary Wickham, have recently become active on Twitter.
The family has also suffered another loss in recent times.
On Monday, Ms Petito’s stepfather Jim Schmidt announced that her grandmother, Dot, had passed away three days before her 100th birthday.
