‘Genshin Impact’ teases two new playable Geo characters

MiHoYo reveals details of two brand new playable characters coming soon jenshin effect.

jenshin effectThe developer took to Twitter today (October 11) to share a first look at the RPG’s latest, upcoming playable characters.

First up is Arataki Ito, who has so far only been mentioned by various characters and NPCs in the free-to-play game. Ito Inazuma is the “first and foremost head of the Arataki gang” in the area and will operate Geo Vision. His artwork shows him carrying some sort of Claymore-type weapon while holding the colors of his clan.


Next is Gorou, the canine warrior, first seen in quests during patch 2.1. Goro Watsumi is an army general and will also use Geo Vision while wielding a bow.

It is not yet clear when these two characters will be available, however, they are likely to be introduced in a jenshin effect Wish Banner with Patch 2.3 which has yet to be released.

Version 2.2, titled Into the Perilous Labyrinth of Fog, is set for release on October 13th and will feature Thoma as the next obtainable and playable character. The update will also include a replayable banner featuring Hu Tao and Child, giving players a chance to get them if they haven’t done so the first time around.


In other news, miHoYo and Razer have partnered to release a range of gaming merchandise inspired by Genshin Impact.
