Police said the memorial statue of George Floyd in Union Square was vandalized by a skateboarder who drenched it in silver paint on Sunday morning.

A police spokesman said police had found a video showing a miscreant running after a nearby statue of the late Representative John Lewis and carrying something in his bag, a police spokesman said.
