David Gins, who works in the deputy director of operations, posted a photo of himself in his office, along with a photo of Ms. Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff.

“Hello. My name is David Gins. I work for Vice President Harris as deputy director on behalf of the American people and I absolutely love my job,” he tweeted.

Later, he added “just thought some of you should know” with a smiley face emoji at the end.

The report comes amid a series of negative headlines for the Vice President. Last week, Simone Sanders, senior adviser and chief spokesperson for the vice president, announced she would be leaving Ms. Harris’ office. Their communications director Ashley Etienne was also headed for the exit.

Over the weekend, The Washington Post written Ms. Sanders and Ms. Etienne leave and there are reports that Ms. Harris is a tough and often less prepared boss. This article describes how she often refuses to prepare and reprimands employees when she comes across like this. One employee was quoted as saying that Ms Harris throws “a constant amount of soul-destroying criticism” and that working for her is “constantly like a bully and it’s not really clear why.”

Recent polling has shown that public opinion has little to do with Ms. Harris. Los Angeles Times met That as of November 30, 41 percent of voters are in favor of the first female vice president, Ms. Harris.
