Gary Neville believes Harry Kane may be thinking Tottenham will not be able to finish in the top four after a 3-0 loss to Chelsea.
Kane cut a disappointed man as Tottenham were beaten on Sunday and Neville thinks the striker will be extremely concerned about his chances of winning silverware with the club.
The 28-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Manchester City during the summer transfer window, but he ended up staying at Tottenham and Neville has indicated Kane is not connecting well with his teammates.

speaking about it sky sports podcastNeville said: ‘It’s never easy when a player wants to leave your club and everyone on the field and in the dressing room knows he wants to leave. Things are not going well. We had the statue at Crystal Palace where he played his first 90 minutes without a touch into the opposition box or a shot on goal. Little things like this start ringing before the game.
‘There were alarm bells and there would be more questions as he looked desperate towards the end. He was playing against a very good team and he has been part of the Tottenham team in this position for many years.

Despite his undoubted quality, Kane still awaits his first trophy and his chances of winning the Premier League with Tottenham are quite remote.
Neville continued: ‘He must be thinking, ‘I’m here again. He must be thinking, ‘I’m not going to challenge for the title again at Tottenham and I’m not going to be in the top four either’. He wanted more.
‘He wanted to challenge for the title and this Chelsea team will challenge for the title. I can’t see any way in which they wouldn’t. Of course, he could have got hurt but I just look at the bench. They seem to have everything.
Kane has often started the season slowly and has yet to score in the Premier League this campaign.
However, given the quality he possesses, it is widely expected that he will soon start scoring again with regularity.

Tottenham started the campaign with three consecutive 1–0 victories, including beating Manchester City.
However, matters have since taken a turn for the worse as they were beaten 3-0 by Crystal Palace before losing to Chelsea by the same scoreline.
Thiago Silva, N’Golo Kante and Antonio Rudiger all scored as Thomas Tuchel’s side secured all three points at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Kane and Tottenham will be looking to bounce back at Arsenal in Sunday’s north London derby.
