and speaking ifl tv, Promoter Eddie Hearn claimed that there are still too many opponents the Gypsy King needs to defeat in order to go down in history.

Hearn said on Fury: “They’ve only defeated one person in the last three years.

“He might beat everyone up and go down as one of the greats of all time, but to do that you have to beat the fighters of his era.

“You can’t fight just one guy, so he needs to fight AJ, [Oleksandr] Usik, Dillian [Whyte]”

White takes on Otto Wallin at O2 on October 30, with the winner set to take on Fury as the inevitable challenger for his WBC heavyweight title.

And Hearn chimed in: “I believe Dillian White can beat Tyson Fury.”

“That could be Lennox Lewis, Joe Louis or the Mohammed Ali of that generation.

“But to do that you can’t beat just one guy in three years, you have to fight other contenders and talents and champions.

“And I think he’ll be up for it.

“He’s a fighting man, and hopefully he takes up Dillian White’s challenge.”

Despite the allegations, Hearn admitted: “I like Tyson Fury, I don’t always agree with him and I think sometimes he says some stupid things and sometimes he slaps me right away.

“But I respect him and I think he’s a great fighter and that was a great thing.”

And the promoter revealed: “Now I think he’s got a chance to move on and do even better.”
