The latest collaboration between Nintendo and Ubisoft is here, and once again it sees both companies’ mascot team up for a turn-based tactical shooter in a similar vein. XCOM Chain.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope It moves with kingdom battle (£18.95, Amazon.co.uk) and sees the infamous plumber and his friends moving away from the Mushroom Kingdom to a new galactic setting to rescue their Spark companions.

The game was recently shown off at the Ubisoft Forward event which also saw announcements for the new Assassins Creed upcoming along with the game skull and Bones Pirate-themed action-adventure.

At the event, it was also announced that additional content would be coming to the Nintendo Switch game featuring one of Ubisoft’s other long-running mascots, O mind,

Some retailers are selling the gold version as well. spark of hope, which includes the base game, all future downloadable content, and the “Galactic Reputation Collection”. This would then give players instant access to three cosmetic upgrades for their weapons.

One of the downloadable content updates has already been announced and will include another Ubisoft franchise O mind on a later date. Anyone who has purchased the Gold version of the game will be able to access additional content as it is released.
