“These documents reveal not only shocking reports of sexual abuse taking place in shelters for unaccompanied children, but also violence between UACs,” Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said in a statement to Granthshala News.

“It is no surprise that the Biden administration’s enabling of human trafficking has resulted in violence and child abuse,” Fitton continued.

The ten cases reported involved both “staff” and “non-staff” who sexually abused children alone, while 21 cases of sexual abuse were among minors. There were two reports of sexual abuse between a single child and an “other”.

Sexual abuse was widespread across the country in shelter homes housing migrant children crossing the border alone, and reflects a dark reality facing migrant children in the form of a crisis at the border.

HHS hid details on the identities of alleged perpetrators and victims in the reports and did not provide judicial oversight with incident reports on abuse.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott in April called for the closure of the San Antonio shelter by the Biden administration amid allegations of sexual assault.

“In short, this facility is a health and safety nightmare. The Biden administration is now presiding over child abuse,” Abbott told the reporter at the time, with the White House calling on the Texas Rangers and Texas Department to close the facility. demanded. To investigate allegations of public safety.

“The Biden administration has caused this crisis and has repeatedly failed to address it,” Abbott said. “The administration failed to plan the influx of children they had invited to come. They are now facing allegations of abject child abuse and neglect.”
