“You are not promoting freedom at all, but promoting hatred,” said writer Gideon Lev Video Which directly addresses Mr. Rogan.

“I am an 86-year-old survivor of the Holocaust and watched your video on American independence and the COVID-19 vaccine. It included images of the Holocaust and Adolf Hitler, who murdered my father, 26 members of my family, and 6 million Jews and others in gas chambers, in trenches, in firing squads, and even Even in gas trucks.

“You want to talk about freedom? You’re not promoting freedom outright, but promoting hatred, anti-Semitism, and possibly even more violence and relentless hatred. Apologies to all of you.” Please remove the video immediately. It is disgusting and thoughtless and reckless and I am shocked by your lack of sensitivity.”

Mr Rogan posted a video on his Instagram account last week drawing a line between the requirements for Covid vaccination proof and the Holocaust.

While Mr Rogan does not talk about Nazi atrocities in the clip, there are historical footage and other images of Jewish ghettos in Europe marching Nazi officers, accompanied by audio of Mr Rogan from a recent podcast episode.

Mr Rogan says: “As soon as you give power to politicians, any kind of power that didn’t exist before, if they can force you to do something that lets you enter businesses or make you do so. Gives or allows businesses to be open, historically, they are not the ones giving up that power.

“They find new reasons to use it. We have to protect those freedoms at all costs, whether you agree with the people’s choice or not, because that is the foundation upon which this country was founded: freedom. “

He continued: “It’s the literal structure that allows this country to be so f****** amazing. Anything that comes along that can inhibit your freedom is, by definition, anti-American.”

Granthshala has reached out to Mr. Rogan for comment.

Ms. Gray told the daily dot That Mr. Rogan had not answered Mr. Lev.

Mr. Lev was born in Carlsbad, then Czechoslovakia, in 1935. He was taken with his parents to the Theresienstadt concentration camp in 1941. While his mother survived, his father was sent to Auschwitz and died on the way when the camp was evacuated before the Allies arrived.

Mr. Lev survived this ordeal and left the camp in 1945 at the age of ten. They ended up in Toronto, Canada before moving to Israel in 1959. Along with Ms. Grey, he wrote The True Adventures of Gideon Lev: Rascal Holocaust Survivor Optimist.

“Our TikTok followers have been very supportive of Gideon’s message. Yet there are many people who do not understand the weight and meaning of the visual cues used in the video,” explained Ms Gray the daily dot.

“Comments have run the gamut from extremely supportive and disappointing to outright anti-hate and threats. Frankly, the comments that concern us most are those that reflect a serious lack of knowledge of basic history combined with an inability to distinguish between historical facts and political distortions. “

The Holocaust was the massacre of European Jews organized by Nazi Germany under the leadership of Adolf Hitler during World War II. Along with their allies, the Nazis systematically killed about six million Jews between 1941 and 1945.
