Home Alone star Devin Ratray looks at the world away from his character Buzz McCallister, 31 years after starring in both Home Alone.
The actor played Kevin’s older brother in both Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York in 1990.
To the delight of fans, Devin reprized his role in the reboot of the classic film series, Home Sweet Home Alone, and his character gave fans an update on what Kevin has been up to in the intervening years.
Now a police officer and impressive bearded Buzz are reintroduced to the audience as he deceives Jeff (Rob Delaney) and Pam (Ellie Kemper) into entering the wrong code for the security alarm at Max’s home.
Despite the pair letting go, Buzz receives a call from the police station to re-examine young Max’s house after he reports the couple trying to break in.
However, Buzz has none of this and insists that it is a prank call from Kevin: “When I was a kid, my family went on vacation. We forget our little brother, Kevin. Two. Times.
“He called in [break-in] mess with me The idiot does this every year.
“I know for a fact that there’s no forgotten kid at that address, I was just in for a fake home alarm call. The house had a McAllister home alarm system.”
