People across the UK will be able to enjoy 50 percent discount by booking their dinners online at hundreds of restaurants across the country from today until the end of November.

Michelin star restaurants such as The Clove Club, Galvin La Chapelle and Benares in London are offering heavily discounted meals as part of The Fork festivities.

The Mahotsav is launched by online booking service The Fork – formerly known as Booktable.

As part of The Fork Festival, Banaras is offering a tasting menu for £119 with a complimentary glass of champagne and petit four per table.

Customers expecting discounted meals will be able to save up to 50 percent by booking through TheFork’s website.

This is the first time it is taking place in the UK – but it has previously been held in Australia where the company was founded before being bought by TripAdvisor in 2015.

The offer includes hundreds of restaurants including Hard Rock Cafe, The Real Greek as well as dozens of independent restaurants across the UK.

Birmingham’s Gurkha Lounge as well as Boteco do Brasil in Edinburgh and Estó Espaa in Liverpool.

This comes as research from TheFork found that a quarter Bland Brits haven’t been to a new restaurant in over a year 31 percent admitted that they go to the same restaurant every time they go out.
